Grief is something we always carry with us, though it takes different shapes and forms through time. One of my favorite comparisons is that grief is like waves. At first the waves are so strong, they can even knock us down and feel debilitating. Other times they are smaller, or even less frequent. Sometimes just a song reminds me of my dad, and I feel the wave coming. But like the ocean, we cannot stop them from coming. Learning to embrace the wave, not fight it, to let it wash over me, and feel the feels has really helped me. I too cannot stand when the house is disorganized it literally drives me bananas. I have not watched your video yet on your trip to Dubai. I too have been doing the best I can to be outside in the summer and enjoy the lovely weather while we still have it. I was wondering do you ever meet with any of your followers who happened to be in the vicinity of where you live or work? We will be going down to San Diego to visit my aunt and will be driving along the coast.I’m not a stocker really ha ha. I’m 61. Started walking on treadmill about 15 months ago, an hour a day. I go pretty much every day now. I love it! Even my arms are toned now. I didn’t intend to walk so much but I became addicted. In one year period I walked 60 minutes 355 days out of 365. I e never felt better! Good for you! Keep it up! You deserve it. Btw….I run my own B&B and duvets are a pain! I prefer just fluffy comforters. I hardly ever use duvets I bought.

Maria, you have got to feel so much better after accomplishing so much in only a day! Now, that duvet cover. I have one that is similar. The salesperson was so kind to tell me about the duvet clips for the corners and gave me instructions how to use them. The duvet gets turned completely inside out. Lay it on the bed. Lay the duvet on top. Clip each corner with the special clips. Then pull it all back through the opening where it is now right side up! It will not wriggle around anymore inside the cover with the corners being secured....Loved this video. I always enjoy your content, style, and comments. You are lovely!

Hey Maria! I always enjoy your styling videos! I bought that cream pleated “tennis” skirt but since I’m 5’2” I didn’t even think of it as “tennis”. I got it in the navy also. I just love the ease of a pleated skirt and how flattering it is and I jumped at the opportunity to get one that wasn’t midi length! On me it’s just a little above the knee, doesn’t feel “mini”. I’m just styling it the same way I would the midi version but liking that it’s not hot for summer in the South, and can work so well and still be flattering on a petite with lots of styles of flat shoes.

I know that several viewers have been asking about you doing a new video on your under eyes since you said you are doing a new routine. You know how undereye circles and bags are a huge concern for many and I know you had asked what would be of interest to the public and you know what a great response you had before on that topic. Just an idea or suggestion since you had asked. I know you said you are correcting and concealing in a different way now. Have you ever tried PTR eye tightener mixed with concealer. Some love it or hate it.

When I saw Dubai popped up on my screen, I was "No, not in the mood for pretentious anything" ahh, was pleasantly impressed with everything you showed, spectacular. My ♡ was all the spicy fries, french fries with every meals, that was heaven. I hope your 2nd airbnb was enjoyable! I have never stayed and probably never will stay at airbnb. I appreciate your grace and beauty, first class, yet humble. 🙌🏽 to finding the last minute accommodation. The price tags for a week gotta be over-the-top 😉 Wishing you the best and safe travels!
